General Information on Data Processing

Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 13 GDPR, we inform you of the legal bases for our data processing activities.
If the specific legal basis is not explicitly stated within the data protection notice, the following applies:

  • The legal basis for obtaining consent is Art. 6 (1)(a) in conjunction with Art. 7 GDPR.

  • The legal basis for processing necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR.

  • The legal basis for processing necessary to comply with legal obligations is Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR.

  • Where processing is necessary for the purposes of a legitimate interest pursued by our company or a third party, and such interests are not overridden by your interests, rights, or freedoms, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

  • In cases where processing of personal data is necessary to protect vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(d) GDPR.

Data Deletion and Storage Duration

We adhere to the principles of data minimisation (Art. 5 (1)(c) GDPR) and storage limitation (Art. 5 (1)(e) GDPR).
Your personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned here, or as required by statutory retention periods. After the relevant purpose ceases to apply or after the expiry of the statutory retention periods, the corresponding data will be deleted as soon as possible.

External Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites or other websites within our responsibility.
If you follow a link to a website outside our responsibility, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for such third-party websites and their privacy notices. Please review these before using such websites to ensure that you agree with them.

External links can usually be recognised by a distinct colour or underline. Your cursor will also indicate an external link when hovering over it. Only when you click such a link will personal data be transmitted to the target site. The operator of the other website will in particular receive your IP address, the time you clicked the link, the page on which the link was clicked, and other information described in that provider’s privacy notice.

Please note that some links may lead to a data transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Foreign authorities may thus gain access to your data, and legal remedies against such access may not be available to you. If you do not wish your data to be transferred to external destinations, please refrain from clicking on external links.

Rights of the Data Subject

As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Right to Withdraw Consent

Some data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to Object

If the processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object to such processing at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. We will cease processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

If personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to such processing, including profiling related to direct marketing. Upon objection, we will no longer process your data for these purposes.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or alleged infringement.

Right to Data Portability

If your data is processed based on consent or a contract and is processed automatically, you have the right to receive such data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to request its transfer to another controller, where technically feasible.

Right to Access, Rectification and Erasure

You have the right to obtain information about your processed personal data, including purpose, categories, recipients, and storage duration. For any related inquiries, please contact us using the details provided in the imprint.

Right to Restriction of Processing

You may request restriction of processing if any of the following conditions apply:

  • You contest the accuracy of the personal data (for the duration of verification).

  • Processing is unlawful, and you oppose erasure but request restriction.

  • We no longer need the data, but you require it for legal claims.

  • You have objected to processing (pending the outcome of a balancing of interests).

When processing is restricted, your data may only be processed with your consent or for legal reasons as described in Art. 18 GDPR.
